A Whole-Person Approach to Intimacy
My work brings together clinical sexology, counseling, and nursing. I consider the emotional, relational, physical, and, when meaningful to you, spiritual aspects of sexuality. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly where to begin - we can start with what’s on your mind.
Dr. Marguerite “Maggie” Bonnet, PhD, LPC, RN
Clinical Sexologist & Relationship Specialist
You deserve a place where you can talk openly about sexuality, intimacy, and relationships and feel met with care and curiosity. Whether you’re bringing a question, hoping to deepen a connection, or discovering something new about yourself, I welcome the opportunity to get to know you.
I’m Maggie, a Clinical Sexologist and Licensed Professional Counselor with a background as a Registered Nurse. I’m also a Board Certified Diplomate with the American Board of Sexology. I speak French and Haitian Creole. My extensive healthcare experience inform how I understand the connections between your physical health, emotional well-being, sexuality, and relationships.
I welcome individuals, couples, and partners in traditional and nontraditional relationships, including various types of consensual non-monogamous relationships. My approach is sex-positive and kink-aware, with respect for your identity, culture, beliefs, and experiences. I want you to feel comfortable sharing what matters to you, including parts of your life you may not have felt able to discuss elsewhere.
I have a special interest in sexuality in later life, the connection between sexuality and spirituality, and helping couples prepare for marriage. I also enjoy supporting people as they explore pleasure, intimacy, and what feels fulfilling in their relationships and within themselves.
Our work together will be shaped by your needs, values, and goals. I bring warmth, education, and an open mind, while making room for your own understanding of who you are and what you want. If you’re curious about working together, a consultation is a chance to ask questions, share a little about yourself, and see how it feels to connect.
